ABOUT

Qualified. Professional. Confidential. Experienced.
KEY VALUES
As a qualified counsellor, these values underpin my practice:
-
Professionalism
-
Confidentiality
-
Client safety
-
Inclusivity
-
Sensitivity
-
Trauma-informed approach and treatments
I enjoy working with people who have a range of lived experiences, and my approach is:
-
neuro-affirming
-
inclusive
I welcome
-
gender-diversity and those with various sexual orientations
-
people of all faiths/religions, or with no defined spiritual/religious beliefs
I have a personal Christian faith, but I have broad experience working with clients of all faiths and no religious/spiritual inclination. In order for counselling to be effective, it needs to be experienced as a safe space. Your trust in me is key, and I recognise that this must be earned, not just assumed. Hence, I take my lead from my clients and will not impose my spiritual worldview or beliefs on any client or situation.
I will meet you where you are at, and without judgement.
